Our founders grew up surrounded by factories, warehouses, and the hum of production lines. We were inspired by the grit and genuineness of manufacturing companies.

From an early age, we wanted to build something of our own. Something that would leave a mark.

After a few years in finance, consulting, and large corporates, we started brainstorming startup ideas, and we kept coming back to the same topic: procurement.

We discovered that despite its growing importance, many players were still managing procurement with outdated tools like Excel or rigid ERPs.

This was especially surprising given how procurement has become a critical department in the face of modern challenges like inflation, global trade complexities, regulatory pressures, and geopolitical events.

Historically, Procurement has often been overlooked

It was seen as a back-office function, overshadowed by sales, with the perception that 'anyone can buy'. But we know the truth: Procurement teams hold the power to drive real value for their companies.

They deserve better tools, and recognition for their strategic role.

That's why we built Compri. Founded in 2024, we give procurement teams the tools to automate what slows them down, and focus on what creates value.
